On 7 July 2026, the Organization for Social Development (OSD) celebrated African Children’s Day at Azzeman Hotel under the theme “Unified for the African Child: A Dedication to Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene.” The event brought together 59 participants from ACLIC, OSD, Save the Children International, and partner CSOs to raise awareness on child rights, promote meaningful child participation, and strengthen advocacy skills. Through discussions, social media advocacy sessions, and children’s reflections, participants highlighted key challenges related to water, sanitation, hygiene, and child protection, while strengthening children’s voices to engage duty bearers and advocate for improved services.
